Gabapentin Urine Test

Gabapentin is being tested for in urine using tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) at NMS Labs. Gabapentin is best known under the commercial name Neurontin(r). Previously offered as only a blood test, this new test is well suited to be used in pain management clinics and other settings where urine samples are easier to obtain. Testing for this substance is performed for Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) and compliance testing.
