Wendy R. Adams, Ph.D., DABFT
Forensic ToxicologistWendy Adams earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Duquesne University and a B.S. with Honors in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona. Her work experience includes Synthetic Chemistry at Systems Integrated Drug Discovery Co., Forensic Chemistry at the Allegheny County Coroner's Office and Analytical Chemistry in the GC/MS Screening Department at NMS Labs. Dr. Adams also has many years of teaching experience including Pharmacology for the Graduate Nursing Program at Carlow University, the Forensic Applications Laboratory and Anatomy and Physiology Laboratory at Duquesne University, and guest lectures for the Cyril Wecht Forensic Institute. She was recognized for Teaching Excellence with the President's Award at Duquesne University. Dr. Adams is an Associate Member of both the Society of Forensic Toxicologists and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. She has made several presentations at annual meetings and has received specialized training in Human Performance Toxicology through the Borkenstein Courses on Alcohol and Highway Safety and the Effects of Drugs on Human Performance and Behavior.« Back
