Collect 7 mL EDTA or Heparin Blood (lavender or green top tubes). Collect Blood at end of shift. Centrifuge and separate RBCs into a screw capped vial within two hours of collection. Chill and ship with cold pack. DO NOT FREEZE! Note: The validity of the results will be compromised if the analysis is not performed within FOUR hours of sample collection. |
