||High Performance Liquid Chromatography/
TandemMass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS)
||1 mL Plasma
||Lavender top tube (EDTA), Pink top tube (EDTA)
||Frozen plasma collected in an EDTA (lavender or pink-top) tube. Sample should be frozen as soon as possible after collection, but is stable when stored at room temperature up to 24 hours. Do not refrigerate the sample. Refrigeration will cause cryoactivation to occur and prorenin will convert to renin causing falsely high renin activity result.
|Light Protection Required
||Room Temperature: 1 day(s)
Refrigerated: Not Stable
Frozen (-20 °C): 30 day(s)
||Received Room Temperature. Received Refrigerated.
