Impact statement
The 2018 Farm Bill legalized industrial hemp production, making cannabis and cannabis derived products containing less than 0.3% delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC) more accessible. As a result, commercial availability of edibles, dietary supplements, e-cigarettes, and other cannabinoid containing products has increased exponentially. These products could contain cannabinoid isomers (e.g., Δ8-THC), other cannabinoids (e.g., cannabidiol), and even synthetic cannabinoids.
